my sister in law's been fighting cancer so hard. my friend donna just got diagnosed with bone cancer. several other friends are going thru chemo right now for different cancers. it's a horribly hard and scary thing. and i can't believe i can make a list of people going thru this stuff. they're on my mind and in my prayers daily. and sometimes i just feel so helpless. i know we all are touched by this and we can all feel helpless. let's start off our new year holding everyone we know who's going thru the battle of cancer, and other life threatening illnesses close in our hearts this month. maybe if we know we're all doing it, we won't feel so helpless, and maybe, just maybe the ones we love will feel that energy that we're creating...join us in surrounding those we love in light...let's wrap them up real, real good! and to all of you struggling thru this stuff, you are not alone!! we care and we're with you in spirit - big time! * i met joyce recently and wanted to share her with you! her website is in dutch!! but if you use google, it will translate it for you! what a pleasure it has been to get to know joyce a bit! check out her lovely website! * danielle came thru and shared an incredible poem with me that just needed to be spread around! it's now up on our "others' sighs" page and we'd love to share it with you! danielle, thank your heart. * joye came thru, shared one of her 'space series' pieces with me and knocked me outta my chair! she has since shared a website and a blog! go check her out! and be sure to check out the 'space series' (my personal favorites!!) * going perfectly with our 'in our hearts' theme, patty shared her latest book with me. "Embracing the Moment: Living with, Through and Beyond Cancer." you can preview it here. thank you, patty, for sharing your story. |
