when things were hard and when it hurt, she closed her eyes - searching for the light inside. slowly, it brightened enough for her to see it. quietly, she felt it - touched it - held it. and steadily it warmed her and softened her once again.

one of the hardest things about working with bone sighs is watching really cool shops go out of business. we recently lost a shop, EZENtial Living, in new jersey. losing these shops is always a great sadness. we can't encourage you enough to support those beautiful local treasures! thankfully, charlene, the owner of EZENtial living has gone on line! we haven't completely lost her! in fact, maybe we can make her grow! it's a crazy time to figure out how to make it all work.
we wanted to hold charlene, and every single person adapting and trying to grow in our hearts this month! it's not an easy thing to hang in there sometimes. i guess this can really include us all, couldn't it? let's hold all of us who are adapting and hanging in there in our hearts this month! and let's go check out charlene's new on-line store! and remember notes matter as much as purchases! even if you can't buy right now, you can always type an encouraging note! charlene, we're wishing you great success with your new venture!
*laurel shared a story that totally knocked me to the floor.

leanne is just beginning her journey into the art world! she started her own etsy shop making really funky fun jewelery! you're gonna love what she does. i've got some of her earrings and have a ball wearing them. but she's got more than earrings! there's bracelets, and necklaces and hair clips, and all will make you smile! go check her out!
* and then we've got our other wonderful, marissa! marissa took one heck of a brave step and wrote a book about her journey thru years of being a 'cutter.'
