OHMYGOSH! we have so many big things to tell you!!
there's new GIRL bone sighs on the block! ohmygosh, yes!
AND! there's a BRAND NEW book out! and! it's july, which that
in itself is big news, cause how the heck did it get to be JULY?!!!
this is all too big for one glass of ice tea - pull up a pitcher of the
stuff and join us! we're so excited to share! ~~ zakk, noah, terri and josh too

i had the absolute pleasure of meeting a young lady named madeleine
on the phone and thru email recently. in fact, madeleine and her mom, teresa,
inspired a whole new line of bone sighs we'll tell ya about in a minute. they
got me thinking about girls and girls growin' up now and some of the pressures
and funky things they have to deal with. and i thought it would be a great idea
to ask everyone to hold GIRLS in their hearts this month! absolutely hold
ms. madeleine...and every girl out there inside you as you go along this month.
whattya think? what a cool thing to do! i don't have any daughters of my own,
so this is kinda extra fun. i figure the extra energy couldn't hurt....and it sure
could help! so this month won't you join me in holding madeleine and girls
everywhere close in our hearts? girls....you've got quite a network behind you!

* a sister twice removed or something like that, and someone i just really plain ol' like,
pam, shared a website she's created in honor of her mom! her mom, a lovely woman i had a
chance to know just a bit, passed away recently. and i just keep thinking what an awesome
thing to have done in her honor. and if anyone deserved it, betty did!

teresa, madeleine's mom, was nudging me about making bone sighs for girls.
a thought i had before, but didn't know where to go with...
i heard her, nodded in agreement, and stayed stuck.
UNTIL i received a gift of stars from both of them!
wanting to give something in return, our new line of bone sighs for girls was born!
what to name them? why, "ms. madeleiene's" of course!
their stars appear in the first two prints above! look close, that pink famingo
in 'girls matter' was actually drawn by madeleine herself!

i am soooooooo shy about saying that!
but really excited (and scared) to share this with you!
it's different than the others.it's a mixture
